Air Cargo at SBD: Ramping Up for the Holiday Season

Here come the holidays! Preparing for Thanksgiving and its many delicious details at the end of November is one thing, but what’s really hard to believe is that Christmas — and the New Year to follow — is exactly one month beyond that. SBD neighbors will be happy to know that SBD and our air cargo partners have the holiday season covered.

UPS Airlines and FedEx Express have operated at SBD for several years. Amazon Air launched service at the airport in spring 2021. Together, the three air cargo carriers offer a variety of flights at SBD to help meet regional demand for online orders and on-time door delivery. During the final weeks of 2021, the carriers will ramp up flight activity so that Inland Valley neighbors, retailers, restaurants, and other businesses can continue to experience timely delivery of essential goods and seasonal gifts, and other treats during the holidays.

SBD and our air cargo partners are pleased to contribute to our neighbors’ warm and wonderful experiences during the festive time ahead.
